Head "exploding" every thirty seconds

After adjustment today, my granddaughter says she is feeling exploding pain in the top of her head every thirty seconds. Is there a solution for this?

Obviously this is of great concern. A reaction to treatment is not uncommon, in fact there's a suggestion that unless there is some reaction, treatment won't help, but this is different.

I would certainly phone the chiropractor immediately, and it's important to measure her vitals, especially pulse and blood pressure. If there's any suggestion that she is not properly compos mentis then I'd get her to the emergency rooms.

Please let us know what the upshot is.
