Kellgren -lawrence grading

In most of the research papers the abmormality in bones are calssified on the basis on kellgren lawrence garde values. ... I have some questions related to that..The questions are


1. On what basis kellgren lawrence garde values are formulated?
2. What is the reference or standard values that is taken for formulation of thes grades?





Hello Subramoniam,
Frankly, I don't know. I would presume that Drs Kellgren and Lawrence were two radiologists who colaborated on a grading system for hip arthritis. It obviously doesn't cover all eventualities, I found that too.

An internet search might help.

Perhaps it's time to come up with an Enodaid-Lewis classification!
