Pain in lower right should blade/top of ribs that radiates around the front of right rib cage and tingling sensation in forefinger and middle finger.

Could this be something that can be treated by a chiropractor? Thank you.
Hello Joanne,
Yes, these are the kinds of conditions treated by chiropractors, but this is out of the ordinary, which means extra care must be taken to get the right diagnosis.
Firstly, fore and middle finger tingling doesn't fit with a classical dermatome. If it's only the part of the index that is adjacent to the middle finger, then it's part of the C7 dermatome. It doesn't sound like carpal tunnel syndrome because the thumb and ring finger are not involved.
Then, the pain in the chest and midback is a completely different dermatome, affecting one of the upper thoracics.
Can you give me more details. When did it start, which movements if any affect the pain and tingling, have you seen your doctor, and so on?
Also, are there any possibly any related problems, like of the lung, or breast, stomach pains or indigestion?
Have xrays of your neck and chest been taken?
What started it?
Is the Upper limb tension test positive, and do movements of your neck provoke the pain. Deep breathing?
