Grade III spondylolysthesis

I filed for ssi and been denied twice, I retained an attorney and he wants me to get a report as to: how long I can sit, stand, walk etc... What type of doctor do I need to see for this? I have medi-cal(bluecross) and made an appt. with the doctor that they (bluecross)assigned me to, do I need a certain type of doctor for this type of report or is she(doctor) a family practioner capable of doing the evaluation? what is this report type called?an assesment? Do I need to ask her to refer me to a certain type of doctor? Thank you.

Hello Cheryl,

Could you send me this scan in a larger file? It's very small.

Yes, you do have a nasty spondylo, but perhaps more important, it looks like you have a large bulging disc at the level above, probably L4-L5.

Spondylos can be a red herring. Many people have them and they cause very little symptoms. Research indicates that the level above the spondylo is vulnerable, as in your case.

Can you stand on your toes and on your heel without difficulty?

I would get an assessment from a specialist orthopaedic or neurosurgeon for your legal evaluation.

Chiropractic may indeed be able to help you, but every case is unique and it's going to be a challenge which ever route you take.

Back exercises EVERY MORNING before you get out of bed for the rest of your life are MANDATORY!]
