tingling in hand always when I lie on that side but also during the day

My doctor has given me Gabapentin but it doesn't seem to help; would a Chiropractor be able to do more? It is stopping me sleeping now.

The first step is to determine EXACTLY which fingers are affected, and whether raising your arm above your head relieves or increases the tingling.

Do you have any neck pain?
